can’t find the time to attend a workshop? no problem. mumsmilk now offers individual sessions for you (and your support team) at a time and place that suits you. perhaps you’d prefer to book a group session with your pregnant girlfriends! mumsmilk can help you with all you need to know to feel prepared and ready for a great breastfeeding experience.

the evidence is clear. mums (and dads) that participate in breastfeeding education before baby arrives, have an easier and more successful breastfeeding experience with their babies. it makes sense. once baby arrives, you may feel a little overwhelmed. so learning all about breastfeeding while you are still pregnant is the way to go. ideally before the last trimester. having prepared and informed yourself, you will definitely feel more confident in breastfeeding your baby.

allow 1.5 to 2 hours for an initial mumsmilk breastfeeding consultation. a mumsmilk lactation consultation includes a comprehensive history taking & observation of a breastfeed. with your permission we will examine your breast and your baby’s mouth to help find tailored strategies to suit your specific needs. mumsmilk will then provide you with a detailed management plan and a follow up call to check-in with you on how it’s all going. the best of care for both mum & baby.
